Aleido develops ILS process for global actor in the maritime sector
NEWS |
Since April 2025, we have supported a customer in the maritime sector in establishing a structured Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) process and developing reliability data, including calculating MTBF values (mean time between failures) for a system delivery.
In the assignment, we have both developed methodology and mapped the customer’s existing internal data, focusing on identifying where the information is found, how it can be utilized, and how the customer can build a scalable approach going forward.

The customer’s technical system, installed onboard vessels, reduces the overall environmental impact and plays a key role in enhancing sustainability and operational efficiency within maritime operations.
The demands on subcontractors are increasing across many industries. A well-developed ILS framework, combined with delivering accurate technical data and documentation, is crucial to make sure that systems have high reliability, availability, and maintainability – while also decreasing the Life Cycle Cost (LCC).
