Diversity, equity and inclusion
We need a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce now more than ever...
Diversity, equity and inclusion under fire
Recent years have seen a resurgence in focus on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) - but not always in a positive way.
Negativity and disinformation on social media are fuelled by the increasingly polarised views of particular groups, including global political leaders, which in turn lend a distorted sense of legitimacy to those with extreme views.
What does DEI mean for the workplace?

Diversity focuses on representing a variety of groups, equity ensures fair treatment and opportunities for all, and inclusion promotes a culture where everyone feels welcome and supported.

Diverse teams bring different perspectives, leading to more creative solutions, better decision-making, and stronger problem-solving. Companies with inclusive cultures are more innovative and adaptable to change, helping them stay competitive. Employees in inclusive workplaces feel valued and respected, resulting in higher job satisfaction, lower turnover, and a fairer work environment.

Research shows that diverse companies tend to be more profitable, productive, and collaborative. A diverse workforce also helps businesses connect with a broader customer base, fostering trust and relatability. Additionally, promoting DEI supports social responsibility, addresses systemic inequalities, and ensures compliance with industry regulations.
How can we help?
Our off the shelf diversity and inclusion e-learning helps create a workplace where everyone feels respected and included. Our courses teach learners to understand different perspectives, spot unintentional biases, and support colleagues when it matters. By building empathy and teamwork, these courses help foster a stronger, more inclusive company culture.
We’ve also worked with several customers to design and build bespoke solutions to drive positive change in their organisations. For example, we worked in partnership with diversity and inclusion experts Involve People to create a bespoke e-learning course for Greene King. The suite of fully responsive modules covered a range of topics such as prejudice, discrimination and intersectionality to help raise awareness, and drive inclusivity through action while fostering allyship and advocacy.
Adopting a holistic approach, we ensured that the diversity of the target audience was thoughtfully represented in every aspect of the course design, from the written content and visual elements to accessibility features, creating an inclusive experience that resonates with all learners.

Here's what Greene King had to say about their experience with us:
I was very pleased with the final output and general approach from Aleido. I found everyone I interacted with to be helpful, professional and supportive. Due to issues with a previous supplier this project started overbudget and behind schedule, with our client feeling very frustrated and impatient to see results. The team from Aleido were so understanding and collaborative in their approach and delivered excellent work which transformed a very pressurised situation into a successful project.”
