Refresh of the existing Code of Conduct e-learning to update the learning content and visual style.

THE TRAINING NEED
Liberty Global were looking to replace their catalogue of compliance training with updated content. The aim was to refresh the look and feel of the training, so that employees would feel as if they’re viewing the material for the first time.
The purpose of this module is to make employees aware of the key requirements of the Liberty Global Code of Conduct Policy, behavioural expectations, and where to find further help or guidance.

Specific requirements of the e-learning included:
- As it is mandatory compliance training, the desire was to make it interesting and straightforward.
- It required the inclusion of an assessment to confirm a minimum understanding of the contents, and translation into several other languages.
OUR BESPOKE LEARNING SOLUTION
Our solution comprises a single module, split into bite-sized topics that mirror the 4 pillars of the Liberty Global Code of Conduct Policy. The combination of micro-topics and a progress bar enables employees to plan their learning around their workday.
We worked closely with Liberty Global’s brand guidelines to overhaul the previous visual style, creating bespoke iconography, including custom bullet points, that complements their brand font. Their unique, personable tone of voice can be heard throughout the module. As there was a strong desire to move away from corporate stock photography, we sourced person-centred images from Liberty Global’s media library, supplementing them with abstract stock images. Everything blends together using their brand colours, giving the module a modern feel.
The module opens with a personal message from the CEO, generating learner buy-in early doors. Each Code of Conduct ‘pillar’ has a corresponding tagline, which is boldly displayed at the beginning of the topic. The key learning points are then presented through a range of interactive components that offer variety and maintain momentum while being straight-forward and easy to navigate.
Further resources are available as hyperlinks within the content itself for in-the-moment access and signposted again at the end of each topic.
The module closes with a scenario-based knowledge assessment, allowing employees to practice applying their newly acquired understanding of the Liberty Global Code of Conduct to real-life situations they’re likely to encounter in their day-to-day role.
