THE TRAINING NEED

The Ramblers recognised a need to update their entire volunteer welcome experience, which included their existing e-learning module.

Aleido was commissioned to create and develop an engaging, bespoke e-learning module that focused on key messages to reflect the new Ramblers brand.

Specific requirements of the e-learning included:

A 30-minute e-learning course, including new video content.
Designed and developed to accommodate translation into additional languages.

OUR BESPOKE LEARNING SOLUTION

Our solution, which is also translated in Welsh, is a 30-minute module that encompasses four topics. These topics welcome and introduce the broad target audience to the history and legacy of the Ramblers, where they can receive support and how they can get started with their volunteering journey.

We leveraged the Ramblers branding to create a modern, dynamic and mobile-friendly module that features vibrant photography. Background images are of scenic landscapes to create an immersive experience for the learner. Throughout the course, audio and video are used frequently in each topic to enhance the learner’s journey. A variety of interactive components engages the learner as they navigate through the main learning points.

The module features a box menu that includes topic progress indicators. This empowers the learner to plan their learning around their schedule. Resources, further reading and a help screen are signposted to the learner using icons and hyperlinks for instant access.
