THE TRAINING NEED

Teneo, in collaboration with UNHCR, designed and delivered a specialised training curriculum called ‘Reputational risks and crisis communications in UNHCR’. This comprehensive learning plan aimed to expand risk management and communication skills within UNHCR.

Aleido were commissioned to design and develop e-learning content specifically for this initiative, with the online course acting as the foundation level for the training programme.

The training needed to be fresh, high-impact and memorable, enabling learners to feel informed and confident in their ability to strategically consider where reputational risks exist and use relevant tools and techniques to better mitigate them.

Specific requirements of the e-learning included:

A 90-minute e-learning course split into three modules with summary narration.
A responsive solution featuring bespoke illustrations, diagrams, flowcharts and animations.

OUR BESPOKE LEARNING SOLUTION

Our solution is comprised of three modules, that place the information into a realistic, true-to-life context.

Built in Adapt, this training follows a linear structure and takes learners on a journey through risk management, from an introduction to the topic all the way through to a final assessment.

Learners engage with a number of interactive components that break the complex content down into bitesize, manageable chunks. They are also presented with various scenarios that allow them to evaluate where reputational risks exist and apply useful tools to identify them.

Learners knowledge is put to the test through varied formative self-test exercises, questions and activities that validate the learning and ensure comprehension and retention.
