THE TRAINING NEED

IFAD identified a requirement for a short e-learning resource to encapsulate latest procedures in the fundamentals of project design. Although this would be available to all members of IFAD, the main target audience was new recruits and junior staff who were new to project design.

Aleido created a 60-minute interactive and visually engaging e-learning course to meet this requirement and create behavioural change within the IFAD team.

Specific requirements of the e-learning included:

To enable a bookmark function to allow the learner to leave the module at any point, supporting self-paced learning.
An assessment with an 80% pass rate to assess the learner’s understanding.

OUR BESPOKE LEARNING SOLUTION

Working with one of IFAD’s Subject Matter Experts, Aleido developed an interactive, and engaging bespoke e-learning course.

The e-learning course comprises three 20-minute modules that focus on:

Routes to impactful project designs and the need to synchronise IFAD procedures with country needs.
The steps for design, review and clearance across the three tracks and the individuals, teams and committees involved in those stages of the process.
The structure of the Project Delivery Team (PDT) and roles and responsibilities within it and the requirements for achieving effectiveness.

The three modules include a variety of interactive elements designed to engage and maintain learner participation throughout the course. Frequent videos, with tips and insights from subject matter specialists, and tutorials, ensure that the learner receives and understands the information they need to implement impactful project design.

An assessment comprising 16 multiple choice questions with an 80% pass rate assesses the learner’s comprehension and a certificate of completion is available via IFAD’s learning management system.
