THE TRAINING NEED

ECA International provides data, software services, consultancy and training for companies managing workers who travel internationally. ECA wanted to broaden their training offering and commissioned Aleido to build their first e-learning course on the topic of managing international assignments.

Specific requirements of the e-learning included:

The e-learning needed to dovetail seamlessly with existing training.
Act as a standalone introductory course or a precursor to face-to-face sessions.

OUR BESPOKE LEANRING SOLUTION

Aleido created two and a half hours of foundational training for ECA on managing assignments. The bespoke e-learning course covers the basic points about sending an employee on assignment from beginning to end, including relocation and compliance, compensation and benefits.

Delivered in a warm and friendly style, the fully mobile responsive e-learning features characterful animations and illustrations across six standalone modules that learners can study anywhere and in any order.

To put the practical advice and information into context, learners follow a scenario in which they manage the international assignment cycle of Anna as she moves with her family to a new position in Hong Kong.

Important points are reiterated and consolidated via frequent case-study based knowledge checks. The custom e-learning course also includes helpful additional resources such as signposting to further ECA tools and training as well-organised web links and online documents, providing learners with the option to enrich their knowledge and progress with further learning.
