PeopleCert – BRM and
ITAM courseware
A suite of course materials for ITIL® 4 Specialist BRM and ITAM qualifications for use by accredited training organisations.
The training need
PeopleCert were in the process of creating books and exams for two new products on the topics of Business Relationship Management (BRM) and Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM).
They needed accompanying courseware and resources to be used by their channel partners for delivering either classroom-based, face-to-face training workshops or online sessions.
The content for both courses would be spread across two and a half days and six modules covering the learning outcomes in each syllabus.
Specific requirements included:
- PowerPoint decks for use with course participants during each face-to-face and online training sessions.
- Comprehensive trainer notes for each session.
- Participant pack with activity sheets for participants’ use throughout the course.
Our bespoke learning solution
The BRM and ITAM courses are designed in accordance with the PeopleCert brand and product specification document and complements the new textbook publications for BRM and ITAM.
POWERPOINT DECKS
Each PowerPoint deck is designed to ensure that delivery is consistent regardless of the training setting, ie virtual or in-person.
The use of graphics, diagrams and other visual aids, alongside the use of animated transitions, ensures that the key points are presented in an interesting and engaging way.
TRAINER NOTES
Each course includes a trainer notes PDF document, for use by the trainer alongside the PowerPoint decks. This document details everything the trainer will need in order to deliver the course successfully.
PARTICIPANT PACK AND ACTIVITY SHEETS
The participant pack for each course features useful overviews of the course structure and what will be covered, as well as the resources to complete all recommended activities within the sessions.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
The courseware and resources had to reflect the official guides. As these were still in development at the time, it was a great opportunity to work closely with PeopleCert to ensure an accurate representation throughout the duration of the project.
This was a high-volume project involving many stakeholders, so achieving the milestones on target was a critical success factor and was a testament to the close working relationship of the project teams.
